I use primarily Schmincke watercolors and Winsor & Newton Series 7 brushes in sizes 000 through 2. Colors are built up in pale layers until the desired saturation is achieved. Here, you can clearly see titanium white was added for the purpose of modeling as well as to add texture to the fur.
